Introduction of young artists from the Visegrad countries who have already received accolades in their home countries, but have not yet had many chances to exhibit in a foreing country.
Media arts exhibition, installations, environments, performance.
Location: an empty bourgeois house in Halle, city in eastern Germany, which already bears the accents of „space“ as political-historical entity, and that of Eastern-Western division and the question of centre-periphery.
The programme started with a workshop, during which the graphic artists, media artists and sound artists created an exhibition based and reflecting on each others’s existing works, and the space given. The vernissage was followed by a 7-day workshop of the performing artists, in the course of which the artists reacted to the theme of space and the installed works in the house.
